Tracy Arm, Juneau – Glorious!

Got up this morning and looked outside and saw:

Perfect weather, amazing view, hot espresso, breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill …. and a red excursion sticker 🙂

Took a ship’s excursion with Allen Marine up Tracy Arm Fiord to Sawyer Glacier.  Much smaller than the Volendam (obviously) so we were able to get very very close.

We were close enough to feel the spray from the waterfall!

This photo is not color enhanced - the water really is that lovely shade of aqua!

We saw all kinds of animals…

A transient Orca, named Capt. Hook because of his fin.

And then back to Volendam in Juneau, where we swam in the aft pool.  Our first swim of the summer and we had to go to Alaska to do it!  Sunny and 75!
